Ems2 developed and managed a project to train UK-based accountancy firms to provide their clients with advice on resilience to extreme weather events.


Services Provided

  • Project Management including
    • Producing and reviewing project plan
    • Chairing project review teleconferences
    • Contacting accountancy firms and securing sufficient trial participants
    • Supporting accountants through the trial and liaising with the resilience tool's technical contact
    • Producing report of trial findings
  • Training and knowledge transfer activities including
    • Presenting trial results at the Said Business School
    • Presenting on innovation hotspots at the Said Business School
    • Collating and reporting on feedback at each stage
    • Producing materials for:
      • Training workshop
      • Launch event
      • Feedback

Special Requirements

  • Transforming accountants into climate-savvy advisors
  • Supporting face-to-face sessions hampered by snow
